Grant Strategy and Writing
Is your organization applying for a grant for the first time? Do you fully understand your organization’s eligibility and what will make your application stand out? Do you need help navigating the application process? At Clarify.Media we can assist you with the entire grant ecosystem from building a strategy and identifying individual grants to writing and submitting applications. We also work with individuals applying for grants and fellowships as well.

Professional Development for Educators
Teaching media literacy to secondary and university students has become an essential part of 21st century education. Clarify.Media offers one hour, 90 minute, half and full and multiple day professional development lectures and training sessions for educators, both in person and virtually. In these sessions educators will learn about what misinformation is, what forms it takes and how they can teach their students to spot it. They will also learn about tools and techniques they can use in their classrooms to help students verify information they find online and in social media. For half and day long sessions teachers will have a chance to use these tools themselves and collaborate with each other to explore how they can integrate them into their classrooms.
Lectures for Students
Clarify.Media staff can come to your school in person or virtually to help your students learn about why misinformation is so dangerous and what they can to to fact check and verify the flood of information they come across everyday on social media. Lectures range from 45 to 90 minutes in length and will provide students with tangible tools they can start using right away. We can tailor our lectures for students of different ages studying a range of subject matter.
Professional Development for Journalists
The public needs news media professionals to help them tell the difference between what’s real and what’s made up. But does your staff have the 21st century tools they need to verify the tips and information they encounter online? Our staff is made up of working journalists who can help your reporters and editors hone their verification and digital engagement skills. Sessions range from one to three hours and cover topics including misinformation, viral rumors, detecting bots and advanced verification techniques. We can also work with your staff to develop and refine their audience engagement strategy.
